Nathaniel Stern will be featured in Richard Noyce's new book, Critical Mass: Printmaking Beyond the Edge, published by A&C Black (London) and due for release September 2010.

Additionally, an exhibition of new work will premiere in Johannesburg, South Africa, July 2011. It is Stern's third solo with GALLERY AOP, and will feature a large-scale installation, prints, and an artist book.

In this ongoing series of prints, artist Nathaniel Stern straps a desktop scanner, laptop and custom battery pack to his body, and performs images into existence. He might scan in straight, long lines across tables, tie the scanner around his neck and swing over flowers, do pogo-like gestures over bricks, or just follow the wind over water lilies in a pond.
